What is a Tele Visit (Video) Visit?
Adults 18 years & older can video chat with a doctor while at home, work, or on the go. This service is for patients with minor heart and vascular complaints, and for routine checks — not for emergencies. For emergencies, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency care location.
What We Can Treat with Tele (Video) Visits
With Tele Visits, doctors can treat a variety of minor concerns or complaints. Some common conditions we treat are:
- Follow-up visits for stable conditions such as:
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol
- Atrial fibrillation
- Coronary artery disease (with no new chest pain)
- PAD (Peripheral Arterial Disease)
- Minor flare up of existing conditions
- Congestive heart failure

- Counseling for Varicose veins, stable PAD

What We Cannot Treat with a Video Visit
- Chest pain
- Stroke-like symptoms (such as sudden-onset weakness, numbness, or tingling)
- Difficulty breathing
- A fainting or near-fainting episode
- Coughing up blood
- Acute vision changes
- Palpitations
- … and other serious conditions
What to Expect During a Video Visit
- Receive an interview, diagnosis & treatment
- Receive an after-visit summary containing a care plan
- Have prescriptions sent to the pharmacy of your choice
Pricing and Payment
Most insurances cover Tele visit services. Usual co-payments and deductibles apply.
If you are uninsured, we offer a flat rate of $99 for new patients and $59 for existing patients.
Steps in a Tele (video) visit
- Call us at (631) 654-3278. We will schedule your visit
- Have a computer or device with camera/microphone
- At visit time, we will send you a link via text or e-mail to connect. Click the link to open
- Type in your name and click check-in
- Allow your browser to use webcam and microphone
- Your care provider will start your visit
